EPA Administrator's award for outstanding accomplishments by an 8(a) business in Fiscal Year 2006 in the administration and management of Region 4's Emergency REsponse Training and Equipment Management Contract.
G2 provides support to EPA Regions 4 and 8 in Emergency Response Training and Equipment Management, a critical component of the EPA's Emergency Response and Removal efforts.
The EPA Region 4 contracting office personnel stated that "In a relatively short period of time, G2 developed a strong relationship with the EPA that has enabled the Region to step up its response readiness capability when supporting incidents of national significance. In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, G2’s highly skilled and trained staff retrieved the mobile command post and ensured that the necessary repairs were made and that the mobile command post was fully restocked.
"G2’s staff and management have done an outstanding job in managing costs and ensuring that all of their deliverables are delivered on time."
